This site tells the story of the Tavenor, a prototype sports-racing car from the 1960s. The tale may turn out to be of interest if you are the lucky owner of a MARCOS car, or have an interest in the motor-racing scene of that era, or are just curious to learn what could then still be achieved by one person working alone to fulfil an ambition.
The provenance of the story is about as good as it gets – I designed, built and raced the car.
The
site has been tested with Mozilla Firefox, Opera and I.E.8 browsers –
if you don't have any of these installed and/or pages don't
display properly, I'm sorry, but these are my first fumblings with the intricacies
of web publishing, and I'm not likely to be doing anything
about it any time soon.
